or that hoodie her first boyfriend let her ‘borrow’.
and she never returned it.
it was still big enough to wear, surprisingly.
but neither of those things seemed like the right answer.
her second thought made her chest sting with a dull pain.
just like it did every time she laid her eyes on it.
the flying graysons poster hanging up on her living room wall.
one of a kind, first edition. it was something precious to her.
something she’d fight her hardest to protect from the smallest of damages. )
